Welcome to Swift's Landing
Two cottages are available for weekly lease at this time.
In the late 1940's, William H. ("Captain Billy") Swift began creating this compound for his family and in the 1950's moved the cottages from their location across the river at the Swift home to their present location. Captain Billy's youngest brother Edward "Kiddo" Swift built these cottages in the 1920's to house the frequent guests that prevailed upon the Swift family when they came to fish on the Bon Secour River. Each cottage was named after a favorite bird.
Over the years Swift's Landing Cottages have accommodated several generations of guests who have enjoyed "being at camp". Word spread of the relaxing change of pace one could have on the Bon Secour River and the guest roster grew. Whether you are a returning guest or here for the first time we hope you enjoy the quiet natural surroundings and hearken back to a simpler era of life on the river.
